NetBeans

Eclipse 3.0 is my choice
|
Surely Eclipse 3!

Vim by itself doesnt make much of an IDE, but I have written an extensive set of python based extensions that make it the ideal IDE. I really think it should be added.

KDevelop
|
Which language?
Pretty nefarious question really.
Compare apples with apples. Best Java IDE: IntelliJ by a mile. Best C/C++ IDE: I'd love to know cause I'm searching for one right now. |
How about JCreator, so much better then Netbeans
|
No IDE at all ; Using Plain Text Editor for C/C++
|
I code everything on paper and get it typed by someone else.....

I know many people will feel insulted for what I will say, but I must. I already voted for NetBeans, but there is an IDE that's not available for Linux, but I would like to have something simmilar. It's VS.NET, which is the most productive IDE I have ever tried, and I have tried quite a lot. I am one of those that doesn't believe in atacking or criticize software just because is propietary or microsoft-made. And this one, believe me, is just great, along with all the .net framework and the C# language. MonoDevelop is just not at its level.

Emacs and Vim
|
gotta be Eclipse 3.0

NetBeans 4.0
Using NetBeans 4.0 for Java, Anjuta for C/C++
Why there is no C/C++ support in NetBeans :( |
