Starting PC-BSD with error still works. How & Why?

@ moderators: Please leave this thread in the software forum. I think this is a GRUB2 problem, not so much *BSD related. Thank you.

I start five Linuxes and PC-BSD on my netbook with GRUB2, the latter with chainloading the PC-BSD - boot loader.

Now, while this worked flawlessly with FreeBSD, I currently get the message:

Code:

error: no such device: 50d5ec10f44cae.
Press any key to continue...

When I do that or simply wait for 10 seconds or so, booting commences normally with the PC-BSD - boot loader. File system is ufs2, not ZFS (that doesn't start at all). I'm aware that the number printed in the error message is the uuid of the relevant partition.

What is happening here and how can I get rid of that error?!?

Don't know it either, do you? ;) :D.

Btw. ZFS starts too, I just didn't wait long enough...
