sftp - sshd_config "Subsystem" bad configuration???

I've finally got my web server *mostly* set up.. I'm running FreeBSD 5.3..

I did all the standard stuff... udated cvs standard and ports.. built everything.. installed... portupgrade -rRa so EVERYTHING got rebuilt..

I installed Apache 1.3, MySQL 4, PHP 4.3, from ports.. it's working dandy.. I can SSH into the box just fine.. but I CAN'T SFTP!!

I looked in the /etc/sshd/sshd_config file.. and the line wasn't there.. so I added it..
Code:
 Subsystem sftp /usr/libexec/sftp-server
and after restarting sshd and everything... It connects to the IP.. but it timesout waiting for a response..

via SSH... I tried "sftp localhost" and here's the error:
Code:
proliant# sftp localhost
Connecting to localhost...
/etc/ssh/ssh_config: line 41: Bad configuration option: Subsystem
/etc/ssh/ssh_config: terminating, 1 bad configuration options
Connection closed
proliant#
So.. I don't know why "Subsystem" is a bad option.. no one in the #freebsd could figure that one out either...

hopefully I'll get more luck in here.. thanks a lot guys...

grr... okay.. i figured out my issue there... i was sticking the line in ssh_config rather than sshd_config... so now.. i get a different error...

Code:
proliant# sftp localhost
Connecting to localhost...
The authenticity of host 'localhost.insightbb.com (::1)' can't be established.
DSA key fingerprint is 37:57:f4:7c:09:2f:2f:e0:e9:a6:5a:a6:ec:ab:1c:f8.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added 'localhost.insightbb.com' (DSA) to the list of known hosts.

what the heck is the broken pipe?

I did figure it out.. it was trying to do key only.. because i had not uncommented the area for allowing user logon in the sshd_config file...All is working now...
