Question problem with disk 2 of FreeBSD 5.3 release

I've downloaded disk 1 and 2 of the newly released freeBSD 5.3.
I had no problem with disk1, it's working (booting) properly..
but disk 2 i cannot even write it on cdrom... and the problem seems to be in the size of the extracted iso, it is huge (>900MB)
do i need this 2nd disk at all? or it's just live cd... as the one mentioned in a thread below.

900MB extracted? Doesn't make sense. Anyway, you just need disk 1.

yep, though i checked with md5sum and result of the iso file was correct, it matched the sum given at freeBSD site
also upon extracting the files from the 2nd disk.. it gave me some wanrnings that certain files are duplicated
Anyway i'm glad i won't need the second disk
