Question mysql package install

i am a newbie to freebsd and am having problems instaling mysql server as a package. Using sysinstall, it seems to download the package fine, but when it comes to the next bit, i get the following message:

Quote:
Add of package mysql-server-3.23.56_1 aborted, error code 1 - Please check the debug screen for more info.
Anyone know what's happening?
Thanks.

Have you tried installing it from the ports tree?

What version of freebsd is this on?
