mc vs mc-light

Hi!

What is the difference between mc and mc-light (the pros and cons)?
I just want to understand is there some powerful reason to use exactly mc or mc-light...
or it is just a hubit to use mc or mc-light.

P.S. I`ve already googled about this, but nothing found..

mc light is a cleaner version of mc according to the developer of mc light. With mc, sometimes you had errors on freebsd, getting the home directory and other stuff. I didn't experience any troubles with mc light and I have been using it mc light instead of mc since it has been available in the port tree
