looking for 64-bit apps

ok, i installed the FreeBSD release for the AMD64 architecture. i have some other details i have to address before i can really dig in and start installing apps, but i figured i can preempt the BSD community here on this topic. i assume there are some in the ports tree, but i haven't had the experience digging into the ports tree, so i was wondering if anyone has aready found some 64bit apps. mostly just day to day stuff, an image editor, a word processor, stuff like that. heck, do the GUI's have stable 64bit versions?

if not no big deal. standard 32bit apps run fine on my Athlon 64.

32bit code compiled on your AMD64 makes it AMD64 code. If you compile the GIMP on your AMD64, you have a 64 bit build of the GIMP.

(please hold stupid comments about data types ... The AMD64 is just a 32bit CPU with extra registers ... We're not talking about x86 <--> PPC here)
