FreeBSD how to restart network interface


I could not find out how to restart network interface . In redhat I only have to "service network restart " ,please , show me how to do the same thing

...where if0 is the iterface alias.

Yes freebsd do have this kind of netstat - script and it is located in /usr/share/examples/etc directory copy the script to /etc and then you can have redhat linux like stuff. See url for more help http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/vi...tart-stop.html
