FreeBSD 5.2 (install) Signal 11?

All I've been recieving while installing FreeBSD 5.2 was a signal 11 (hangup?) I'm wondering what the problem is. I cannot get as far as even installing the proper devices, and files to '/' after being prompted to setup my Ethernet card. I've installed 4.9 Successfully; but for some odd reason the 5.2 install hangs on me giving me a signal 11 error then reboots, any suggestions on what I should do?
