Trusted BSD?

Hi, I wanted to ask about Trusted BSD.
Is it good for banking and buying online?
Does it have a lot of software with it?
Does it need to be tweeked in order to be secure?

TrustedBSD is a very good BSD distro. Whether it be good for banking I have no direct knowledge, save what we heard of it. However, this one is currently used by the NSA (National Security Agency), a very big name indeed, talk of secrecy.

Trusted BSD is designed with extreme security in mind. You can count on it.

TrustedBSD IS NOT a distro, its project that incorporates various security related features to FreeBSD and other operating systems, You can NOT download TrustedBSD ISO and install it, its just a project.

To Vermaden,

Yes it is not and pardon my hastily worded post.

When I said "distro" I meant those distros (be it a Mac, fBSD or Linux) that has already incorporated in it an implementation of TBSD's advanced security features; after all, these features in order to become useful have to be packed into an OS (mostly open sourced like Darwin -for Mac Framework- or BSD, or as a 'distro' in layman's term.)

When I said "I have no direct knowledge..." I meant that as legal term: i.e. I have no direct experience at installing or getting familiar with one of such systems save that which I have merely gathered from third persons.

Did I say it is freely downloadable? Please check my post above.

On the basis of my indirect information I only affirmed the query from the OP.
