Trouble Installing a Specific Port
Running FREEBSD 6.2
I'm receiving errors which I believe are pointing to the LSI Mega SAS RAID Controller. I've found a port that is supposed to allow me to manage my arrays via the command line. The port is linux-megacli. You can view the port info here:
You can probably edit the Makefile to remove the BROKEN designation, but I doubt it will do much good if the source is no longer fetchable from LSI Logic Corporation. It looks like the vendor needs to provide the source again...
You might tactfully/politely contact both the vendor and the port maintainer if this is important to you. (I suggest the port maintainer as well because he may be willing to provide some context for what's going on with the port...)
