Question Telnet, ssh, etc.


I have MAC OS X installed on a G3. I want to able to access it remotely from a windows box. How can i setup a ssh or a telnet server in OS X? Also how can i setup and FTP server? Thx a lot.

Look in
/etc/inetd.conf
remove the # infront of the sevice you want to run at boot.

If it's not there try (from shell):
Code:
find / -name sshd
for the ssh daemon
Code:
find / -name ftpd
for the ftp daemon

if it returns a location...type it in.

If neither exist try The FreeBSD Manual as it probably has some relevence...
