Sapphire Radeon 7000 32mb SDR
 

Anyone know where I can download gfx-drivers for my graphic-card Sapphire Radeon 7000 32mb SDR ? I tried to find them at sapphiretech.com but it seems like they have not code any drivers for it, only for windows.

The ATI Radeon 7000 drivers should work.What os are you running? and what ver. of xfree86 do you have?

Well, I have not installed FreeBSD yet becuse my computer is not ordered from "Gandalf Data AB" in Gothenborg yet. But when I have it I will install FreeBSD 4.8, but what version of xfree86 that is included with 4.8, I dont know. Maybe you can tell me :)

I checked if xfree already supporting my gfx-card by visiting www.xfree.org but with no result :/ Well, I try search more after it tomorrow. And hey, my english is bad so I hope you understood something of this :)

Radeon Gpu's are supported under freeBSD for 2D and 3D.Does not matter what ver. of XFree86 you get as you can upgrade it after your install. It may work for you out of the box or you may have to do so config but in the end you WILL get 2d and 3d Working. If you have any trouble and need help just post here and we'll get you going.:D

Radeon 7000 is supported in FreeBSD 4.8 .Xfree is 4.3.0.
If yuo have an intel chipset based motherboard card please recompile and reinstall kernel after a cvsup.
