rebuild statically linked ports

Hello,

I am following the instructions for keeping my freebsd system upto date from http://www.taosecurity.com/keeping_...up-to-date.html

After running,

# freebsd-update fetch
# /usr/local/sbin/freebsd-update install

A message states" Don't forget to rebuild any statically linked ports
to use the updated libraries after you install them.
"

what does this mean and how do I accomplish rebuilding statically linked ports?

Thanks
btw...I also posted this over at BSDforums, but haven't gotten a response. I'm kinda in a pickle.

Unless you made a huge jump, you're fine. If you feel the need then just install portupgrade and do "portupgrade -aPf" and it will rebuild everything... but that takes a long time depending on what you have installed.
