Question on how to set this up...

Okie dokie heres the deal.

I live off campus, I run an openBSD server with Samaba/Apache/SHoutCast ect.... Anyway all my friends live in a dorm, and for file sharing and such they use DC++ basicly its an extremely fast p2p program since there all on the same network. Anyway I was thinking of setting a proxy up on his computer and useing my desktop to connect to it. All these computers run windows, so I'd need a windows proxy. I figured I could some how use the BSD box to do this but not sure how I should set things up. Maybe make his download directory my BSD box?? Not sure how to do that either. Im just looking for suggestions and maybe a small how to or something. Thanks in advance!

What exactly are you trying to connect? It sounds like you some how want to connect some P2P applications, is that correct? You're only going to be able to proxy the P2P connection if it uses HTTP as it's underlying protocol.
