ping packet loss on FreeBSD


I get packet loss just pinging sites I am a total noob but I would like to know how to fix this.... ( keep it simple if you can )

Often this problem is due to the heavy traffic on the network.
If that is the reason you can't fix it.

hmmm Just one other computer and ther eisn't heavy traffic... just me using my personal computer browsing and such.....

If you ping external sites maybe that's the problem because you use an external network where it may be heavy traffic.If you ping a computer on an internal network it may be a hardware problem:
network cards ,switches ,hubs ,cables ,etc or even a software problem on that computer.

O ok thank you my ping inside network is 100% but to like yahoo.com ( is where is tested ) i got a 7% loss and i had never seen that before so it worried me thanks so much!
