First, I see this is your first post. Welcome. Not sure if anyone told you or not, but none of us here get paid for the help we give. In otherwords, we had XX problem and this is how we resolved it. As such, some of us have been around a bit more than others.
We will help, just be patient with us. First, it is often helpful to know which distro, linux kernel, soundcard and all that audio related stuff that you are using. you can scroll through other postings to see how to get what is needed.
