installing freeBSD
I usually do FreeBSD, but I did so a remote OpenBSD install once. I'm sure other people will give a better answer.
If you have a fast connection, then the easiest thing by far (IMHO) is to just use create a boot floopy following the readme instructions on the CD.
Boot the server with the floopy (you might need two, one for the kernel and one for the FS). The install process is more spartan than anything I have seen before, but at the same time it is always very clear what's going on with each step. fdisk and disklabel sort of suck without a curses interface, but after you are over that hump just click yes to the defaults and you're off.
