I installed desktopBSD and was blown away. I have never seen an OS run so fast. I fell in love instantly, but I cant seem to get my ethernet adapter working. Its an onboard 1GB NIC. I was able to find the drivers for Linux, but Nvidia hasnt ported them to BSD. Has anyone been able to get NForce 4 ether working on BSD? I really don't want to stop using it, but without internet, its about as useful as a Ferrari without wheels. Thanks

nForce drivers are shaky even on FreeBSD. I know that you can at least get them to work with time out errors on freeBSD.
You might be able to fix or correct the problem by updating the source and re-compiling the kernel. This was the course of action i took with FreeBSD6 which may work for you.
