mouse problems

I just installed freeBSD 5. This is my first BSD install, though ive been using Linux for a while.

Everything installed without errors and when I typed startx at the prompt, X started without error.

Unfortunatly, the mouse is very unresponsive. The cursor is there and I have to move the mouse very rapidly just to get any response.

During the install, it prompted me to test my mouse configuratuon, and it worked fine. The graphical Xconfig worked fine as well.

How can I change my mouse settings and what do you recommend I change?

Thanks.

PS. I have a generic PS2 two button mouse.

Sorry, solved my problem. I was using the generic PS/2 mouse driver, and it wasnt working. I switched to another driver and now it works fine.

Thanks.
