I'm about to try freebsd 6.0 on one of my computer that has a "M-audio audiophile 2496" soundcard I've search the internet bout didn't find anything. So do any of you guys know if it's possible to run this card under freebsd 6.0?
Hmm, their search function turns up nothing for either linux, unix or freeBSD. I would be surprised if it works. By all mean, post the details of your experiment (good or bad) here!
Well I was told there was no driver to that card in *bsd so I installed slackware on that computer and compiled the drier as a module. I canīt change the volume inside the os though but fortunately I use external speakers with a volume control...
