installation method

Hey guys,

Is it possible to do a "net install" or "ftp install" of any bsd distro?

I only ask coz the server i am using doesnt have a cdrom.

If this is possible, could you please point me in the right direction.

Cheers.

It is possible. It is even recommended for some distros (OpenBSD) if you aren't going to buy the CD.

Download the boot floppies and write them to disk.

Then follow the installation directions provided on the site of the version you are installing. I promise they are all very well documented and walk you through the whole thing... including network setup and installation over FTP or however you want to do it.
