One option is to use the bootonly.iso and point to a ftp mirror as the installation source. See here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...0/#post3086768

Thats one thing I dislike about the FreeBSD installer. One option is to use the dvd which you can download via bittorrent from the likes of mininova or buy from FreeBSD Mall.

If your download speed is good enough to download a DVD, you might as well just use the bootonly image and download only what you need from FTP. (I'm just sayin'...)

I say you should first of all read more about freebsd, about it's way of life, about the way to do things and very important you should learn to search first and ask questions later.

regarding your question, here is my answer, do a dvd yourself.
here's a link http://blogs.ittoolbox.com/unix/bsd/...d-70-dvd-22791

next time search and try it yourself before posting a question.

ahmed;

I just went through your recent posts and I strongly recommend that you stop jumping around so fast--stay with a distro for at least a few days before hopping to another.

I find it particularly disturbing that you leave threads hanging while you charge off and start a new one on a whole different topic. This will cause some people to stop responding to your posts.
