Howtos for Linux, FreeBSD, etc.
Hey.
I don't really have a question, but I figured this would be a good place to offer my work. I have set up a Wiki for technical howtos. The idea is to have a community based howto set for users to update and create as needed. You can find these at: Community Based Howtos Please let me know what you think, and any contributions would be great. Thanks, Donnie [ Sorry if this seems like I am spamming for my site, but I honestly do have good intentions and hopes that this idea may catch on in order to provide more useful documentation for users, other than the static and sometimes too techincal documentation that is currently available. ] |

Yes, of course, I am looking for traffic to a website that is COMMUNITY BASED!
What is the problem here? I am not asking for money. I am trying to attract the community to a good cause. I myself have contributed the 3 howtos are there, but I would like some help. I specifically posted in this forum because I realize that FreeBSD router/NAT howto is a popular topic for many FreeBSD users. As for the website help, you can see at the bottom of my post in that I don't understand his english in order to figure out what his problem is, such is why I gave him the only reference that I could at the moment. I am here to help, not gain anything else. Howtos do not in any way benefit me or my website, but simply help other users. Stop making claims that have no basis. |
BTW, we have a community HOWTO system here at LQ - it's called LinuxAnswers.

Thanks for the information. However, I like the wiki oriented system as the replies do not have to be threaded, but can be one documentcreated by many.
