Hello,

Are you using a startup script in /etc/init.d or did you configure NRPE to start with xinetd? Which guide did you follow to set up your NRPE daemon?

Kind regards,

Eric

Hi EricTra,

Yes my issue have been solved.

I just make an entry in /etc/rc.conf file which is as below.

# nrpe2
nrpe2_enable=YES

and also rename the script name from nrpe2 to nrpe2.sh

This works for me.

Thumbs up

And i also run this command first and pasted the result in /etc/rc.conf

#/usr/local/etc/rc.d/nrpe2.sh rcvar

The rusult of this command is as below

Quote:
# nrpe2
nrpe2_enable=YES
Copy and paste the result in /etc/rc.conf file and reboot the server.
