How do I Install a Printer in PC-BSD?

Hi All,

I'm using PC-BSD 1.5 on a Dell 800 MHz P-III. When I go into Settings/Peripherals/Printers, click the Admin mode, and set up my printer (which it lists), I still cannot print. I went to the FreeBSD site and read chapter 9 in the docs about printing, but still didn't get anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks.

Terry

Are you using CUPS? If so, navigate your browser to "https://localhost:631/" and check out the printers tab. If your printer is listed, try a test page. If any of these steps fails, check the CUPS logs (somewhere under /var/log) and report the interesting-looking lines.
