How can I print to a network printer?

I am new to BSD world and I am running FreeBSD 6.1.

I am trying to print to a HP LaserJet 4000 printer on the network(192.168.0.x.xx), but I can not figure out how. I know I have to configure the /etc/printcap file, but how exactly do I set this up?

Go over to http://www.linuxprinting.org/cups-doc.html and check the info and driver packages that model uses. If it uses the HPLIP driver package follow the install web pages.
