Question Has anyone tried connecting a realiance lg CDMA phone on a mac os x

I am trying to connect a LG 2030 Handset via a USB cable to my mac so i can surf the net in India. I can do this on a pc as there is software for the same. I tried working with the linux software they gave but no luck. Does anyone know of how to do this?
