fvwm and OpenBSD 3.8

I have got this fvwm tutorial [1] which puts all the files (icons etc.) in /home/user/.fvwm/. But the OpenBSD manpage says the fvwmrc file should be /home/user/.fvwmrc or ${sysconfdir} (typically /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fvwm).

Does anyone know how can I point OpenBSD's fvwm to my custom /home/user/.fvwm/ directory?

FVWM version 2.2.5
OpenBSD 3.8

Quick: put it in /home/user/.fvwm/ and the symlink it to /home/user/.fvwmrc
