FreesBIE Questions

I have this bootable live FreeBSD CD on hand called FreesBIE. I tried to locate the PPP dialer to connect online but I had no luck finding it. I am looking for a dialer in that CD. I am also on a external modem. Will it support it?

Second question, is it possible when I boot, to speed up the booting process from the CD? It takes for ever.
