FreeSBIE

I just downloaded a copy of FreeSBIE, and all I get is the bootsplash image and then I press a key and it goes to command line. What do I have to do for a GUI?

OK, now I have it. I wish it was possible to install this, it is the only BSD I have gotten to work. (I have tried FreeBSD, DesktopBSD and FreeSBIE). The refresh rate is a little slow as well...

You may want to try TrueBSD, it allows hard disk install http://www.truebsd.org It is based on FreeBSD6.2 PRERELEASE

You may also want to try Frenzy, it will also allow hard disk install too and I managed to install it on my computer easily http://www.frenzy.org.ua based on FreeBSD6.1

I personally agree that FreeSBIE should have a hard disk installed, the last version based on 5.5 allowed that, this one seems more like a downgrade to me, the developer said hard disk install is not a feature and he did not have the time to do it.

I wonder why developers insist on releasing new distro versions when they aren't ready yet, if there is no time then a release in Summer with all features would be just fine.
