freenas and pfsense issues on ports

how do i put this? I have a freenas box which ultimatiy i want to stream music over the internet and a pc with pfsense acting as a router. at one point i could access the freenas gui over the internet but no more. now i have a loopback problem where only the router gui shows. I have dynamic dns for my url and i'm forwarding port 80 to 8080 which are both open individually on my forward ports list . i have a dns forwarder which is not enabled and i unchecked

Allow DNS server list to be overridden by DHCP/PPP on WAN
.
that is my first issue.

after that i have this hurdle. i quote these post i made at the freenas forum:
Quote:

I tried these instructions to stream music over the internet
Activate Freenas webserver.
Enter a valid path in Document Root (in my case /mnt/Raid/).
Extract the distribution archive of Mediabrowser to a web accessible path (e.g. /mnt/Raid/musicbrowser).
Edit path in index.php to match your site (e.g. /mnt/Raid/Music).
Access your music collection through a browser (e.g. http://ipaddressofmyfreenasserver/musicbrowser).

should i mark any checkboxes at the webserver config or is this all i need?

the path should be
/mnt/Brian/

and directory listings is enable

and it is bound to port 8080 for port 80 is taken

i need to use dynamic dns to bypass proxies blocking my ip address at work.
it would be
[url removed]

it displays http404 error

and i'm not sure how to fix this

do i need a stream app instead?
and this

Ok think if i put a php script in the /mnt/Brian/ directory and specify it should look for /mnt/Brian/musicbrowser/index.php, it should work.
I will conlcude with the issue that the freenas forum completely ignored me when i asked . it was posted a while ago and felt nothing like what i am used to with other forums. don't get me wrong freenas is a great os but is that how all the bsd forums are?
