FreeBSD 5.1 giving ACPI error on first login

In the first text login prompt I am not able to login unless I ALT+F2 into another prompt but in the first prompt I keep getting repeated errors that say "ACPI ** Error UTAAllocate: Attempt to allocate zero bytes

ACPI- *** Warning: Buffer created with zero length in AML.

Whats wrong and how can I fix this problem?

I installed from the 5.1 installation CD and did a minimal install and all of my hardware is working fine including my PCMCIA network card. This is on a Dell laptop.

I would pick the without acpi option on the splash screen , #2 i believe. If that helps ,there is a way to disable acpi all the time in the errata for 5.1 at www.freebsd.org , acpi is not perfected yet and laptops can be iffy. You could also cvsup and build world as your problem might have been fixed .. google looks like it has some relevant stuff also.
