Glad to hear it. I've done something similar in the past and found that this was the easiest way to fix things that I had somehow messed up. Usually because I was installing packages for the wrong version of the OS.

Help Please With Gmake Error

After trying this information on my computer with the gmake error this is the message that I get for everything I try... or one similar.. Can someone help me please fix this.

/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /lib/libutil.so.5: Undefined symbol "_DefaultRuneLocale"

I am running FreeBSD 6.2

extra information for gmake error

I ran this command:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$LD_LIBRARY_PATH":/usr/compat/linux/lib

and then I cant do a ls, or make or make install clean, please help!!??
