connect throught X

How to configure FreeBSD that I can connect to it throught X. To connect I use Windows XP and X-Win. I install XFree and KDE and from localmachine it works. What to change?

depending on the X server you are using (XDM/KDM/GDM) you need to edit the appropriate conf file, somewhere in /usr/X11R6/etc/ and allow access from your XP computers IP. (not to mention turning on XDMXP if you use that)

It doesn't work. There is no file which describe ip allow and deny. My X-Win32 cannot connect to server!. I thnig there is no open port but I dont know which one.

how are you starting Xwindows? Personally I use GDM (because its the only X manager I have been able to get network audio on) try this

locate gdm.conf the directory that is in will be fuill of files like Xaccess (which IPs are allowed), thats if you use GDM. Otherwise try jjust locate Xaccess

I don't know which one I use because I am new user and I dont know how to find out. I can't locate this file. Maybe I dont install something. More files in /usr/X11R6/etc are empty a are named keep_me. Please help!

ok. FreeBSD does not boot to X by default. You must log into it via the console first, ie the "dos" looking thing. You would then run a command like startx, xdm, kdm or gdm to load the X windows system. Which?
