Channel balancing FreeBSD 8.1

Could someone link me to a good how-to manual on using 2 channels? because i dont seem to find smthg useful for weeks. Got FreeBSD 8.1 and ipfw. 2 external interfaces 1 local. Currently only 1 ex (in my case igb0) is working. I do kinda know how to do that on 8.2 with pf, but this update would require ALOT of testing on some virtual machine with all utilities and services(how would they update, work, configure etc) and i dont feel like doing it at all. And ye, im fine with an ipfw.

And other question, if someone ever done maybe. Id like to add gateway BSD to domain(thats not a prob ok), and configure it somehow that when connecting given domain user, it would read squid settings for current group (i would need some config to cr8 these groups with given access policies) and so that they are not dependant on netbios name of pc or ip address.
