change password in squirrelmail


hello there!

In my mail server running postfix, squirrelmail on openbsd. I tried to put the pluggins change_password to squirrelmail in order for the user to change their password in the net, but poppasswd cannot do the actual changing of password the error "unable to change password" appear. Does anybody knows the workaround to solv this error?

give more related details..
what authentication mechanism do you use ? etc.
