Can't print with multifunction Canon MP620 (Repost)

Hi,

I run FreeBSD 10.2 and I encounter a problem with my printer WiFi connected.

When i try to print a test page in CUPS interface, I have this message error:

Network host 'name_of_printer' is out of paper.

It's the first time i see this message, i have installed this printer on many other *nix OS before without any problems.

Any ideas please ?

If the error message won't clear, examine printers.conf (/usr/local/etc/cups/printers.conf?) for the status entry and remove it if necessary, then restart CUPS. If this is not due to a 'one-off' event, then the CUPS error log may provide more information. I'm not a BSD user, but in general the CUPS logging verbosity can be increased with the cupsctl command.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your help ferrari. I followed your advice by removing status entry in printers.conf file.

And now, my printer works so fine.
