December 5, 2005 -- LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce the launch of its redesigned website. Along with the new look comes a variety of new features and sections. LQ currently has over 60 forums, with topics ranging from Linux Newbies to Linux in the Enterprise, and has participation from twenty-five Linux distributions. There is also a Linux hardware compatibility list, a tutorials section, a reviews section and more. New to the site is an Articles and Editorials section that contains original content and a blog for every member. The site runs on the LAMP stack and utilizes a variety of Open Source software.
"This is the first complete redesign we've done in over four years. Thew new site utilizes many newer technologies and enables us to serve our members in a way that just wasn't possible before", said LinuxQuestions.org founder Jeremy Garcia.
