Conncting and checking out file from a remote unix machine
By sk_brahma2008 at 2008-07-03 23:22
Hi,

I have my cvs installed in a remote unix machine. I am using WinCVS as the client to connect to the CVS server. I have cvs as the admin and cvsuser1 as a cvs user.

When I login as cvs I am able to do so from the WinCVS, however not able to check out the file. Whenever I login as cvsuser1 I get an error. I have noted down the log for each of the cases. Let me know what could be the reason for the same?

When login as CVS
cvs -d server;username=cvs;password=cvs;hostname=172.28.16.102;port=2403:/usr/cvs/pol... login
Logging in to server:cvs@172.28.16.102:2403:/usr/cvs/polo

I want to know every thing about linux
By prasad_ark at 2008-07-01 22:18
I am a linux fan.I want to know every thing about linux.I see lot of documentation available. How I have to make use of it?My ultimate aim is to create a shared library for the linux kernel. For that I know I have to work hard.If you come across any latest projects in linux, please inform me.I want to take part in one of them.My primary interest would be device drivers. But any other project is fine as long as it is linux.
