Hi!

You will need:
2+ installed and networked Slackware machines.
Kernel compile knowledge.
A 2.4.26 openMosix kernel and the user-space tools, http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/#Latest
openMosixview, which makes things more comprehensible, http://www.openmosixview.com/download.html

What to do:
Installpkg the kernel source package.
Link the kernel source to linux-openmosix ( ln -s /usr/src/linux-2.4.26-openmosix1 /usr/src/linux-openmosix ). This facilitates user-space compile.
Compile, install and reboot this new kernel.
Compile and install user-space tools.
Compile and install openMosixview.
Edit /etc/openmosix/openmosix.config and uncomment these lines. _Read each comments_.
AUTODISC=1
AUTODISCIF=eth1
MYOMID=1
MIGRATE=yes
BLOCK=no

Do this for all machine and don't forget to change MYOMID. You don't need openMosixview on every computer.

Launch the cluster on each node:
/etc/init.d/openmosix start

Launch openMosixview and enjoy.

If you had success with _official_ openMosix 2.6 kernel, please post how.

Discussed here.

I forgot to say to rpm2tgz the kernel source rpm. It converts a .rpm into a .tgz.
