I'm pretty happy with the device. It required "some assembly" when it arrived, but plugging it into the USB port it just got picked up as an audio input device. Compiled & installed audacity, and now happily "backing up" my old vinyl collection to MP3 on HDD. YAY! =D

No line noise as you sometimes get with devices looped through from
the stereo, so I'm very pleased.
