Description: A really cheap ink jet printer with a resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi.

CUPS compatible driver is downloadable from lexmark.com and works perfectly under SuSE 9.0; prints just like under Windows.

With printers from Lexmark.com, the Z25 was able to print in color, but failed to recognize that a black cartridge was not installed. Whenever the color black was printed, it came out blank.

well i personally never could get this printer to work along
with many many others .. ...
i have tried under redhat, mandrake, slackware ...
and not once did i get any results from this printer...
the most success i have ever got was it spitting out a blank
piece of paper ...

This printer is hardly compatible.

On my system, it gets recognized in CUPS but always tells me the media tray is empty when in fact it's not.

Tried different version of the drivers with no success.

Buy HP. ;)
