Description: I have never owned a Apple product before, and i absolutely love this laptop. I dual boot to OS X and Gentoo w/the 2.6.7 kernel. I orginally dual booted to OS X and YellowDog 3.0 (4.0 has resently been released). YellowDog had a very painless install, and is basicly a port from the fredora core. Gentoo was a little more difficult, but has enough advantages to make it worth while.

The hardware in the PowerBook, and the overall constuction of it seems to be head and shoulders above the rest.

The only current draw back is that the video card (Radeon 9600) isn't currently supported in linux. Hopefully this will change soon.
