Description: Great old dual processor motherboard for the old MMX chipsets (for those who just can leave behind pre-6x86 CPU's).

The board had I/O and drive controller onboard, with four PCI and five ISA expansion slots. It has eight SIMM sockets which can handle up to 512MB of EDO RAM.

I've never had a problem with these motherboards. The jumpers can be a bit confusing but, with the help of an excellent Tyan motherboard manual it wasn't too bad. Maxing the board out with two 233 MMX CPU's provides a whopping 928.96 bogomips :)

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.25-ow1

The only real issue is that the IDE controller doesn't like DMA, so if you compile support for the PIIxn IDE controller your system will bugger on cyclic errors. Other than that it runs like a champ.
