I would like to add on here that my 56k modem doesn't work, but linux does detect it. Not sure what it is. RedHat linux 9 test and runs, display needs to be set to a notebook panel of 1024x768 (it doesn't detect this, so choose it from the list in the setup) The original would have a Fujitsu 30GB hdd, ATA-100.
Forgot: Battery indicator does NOT work, so use the lights on the display panel to check if the battery is almost dead. (flashes red and SHOULD beep, not too sure on the beep)
