Description:
|
A nice little digital camera from canon with zoom lens. Uses standard flash card media and comes with a 16mb card. Has a number of settings which I have just barely scratched the surface on and the capability to capture short audio and video to an avi file (eats a lot of space). Four standard image sizes and depth. Fairly simple to use.
I could not get the camera to be recognized as a mass storage device, so I had to use gphoto2 (www.gphoto.org). After following the directions on gphoto2's website I was up and running in no time.
I did not realize when I first set the camera up in Linux that it used flash media (it's a work camera, not my personal camera). So any Linux compatible flash reader should work.
