No problems at all, works like a charm.

plug pendrive in computer, and check dmesg to see the mount point, will be something like /dev/sda1(depends on your setup)

Perfect.

I have the 128MB version.

Windows 98 blue-screened several times when using the driver of the lexar website :)

works great, mounts from /dev/sda1. the win 98 driver is a pain in the rear, but worked without much thought in linux.

PS, I got the 64 meg version, with the rebate it was only 10$ ;)

I'm using the 128 MB version. It works perfectly with Linux. I had worried because there were complaints about SuSE 9.1 not detecting USB drives, but the OS found the JumpDrive almost immediately after I plugged it in.

I bought the 32 meg version, and pluged it in and worked perfectly. Nothing else needed other than pluging it in.

Works very well, mounts automagically, unmounts through right-click menu. However, I am unable to rename the device in GNOME, haven't tried in KDE/XFCE/console

Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.26
Distribution: Slackware 10

I recently purchased the 128 MB version of the Lexar JumpDrive and it works perfectly with Slackware 10 and also works perfectly with the Red Hat 9, Libranet 2.8.1, Slackware 9.1, and Vector 4.0 which I also have on this computer.

With each version of Linux I mounted the JumpDrive manually with the mount command. I had several similar USB devices plugged in at the same time and when using the mount command I used trial and error to see which device was on /dev/sda1, /dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc4. Most of the time the Lexar JumpDrive ended up being on /dev/sda1 although one time I plugged the JumpDrive and my USB Zip drive and a USB MP3 player in after I was already booted up and, if I am not mistaken, it ended up on /dev/sdb1 that time.

I created a /jump directory under root so that I could mount it there. Some Linux users would probably prefer to mount it somewhere like /mnt/jump. I was not sure which extra parameters would be best to use with mount command, but this is what I used to successfully mount it while while logged in as root:

mount /dev/sda1 /jump

Here is an article about using the the Lexar JumpDrive under Linux:

excellent when i get it to work for windows. on FC4, I have not had such luck. It doesn't mount automatically. How do I mount it? I'm beginning to think that this particular lexar jump drive that i have is not the right model for linux. 128MB, BTW.

suggestions on how to mount it?
