Description:
|
A cheap laptop aimed at the home user. Comes preinstalled with Windows XP Home - which works much worse than XP Pro!
Has a printer port, 2x USB ports, USB floppy drive, 1x monitor port, 1x pcmcia slot and a DVD/CD player. The processor is a 2Ghz Celeron and has 256mb memory.
On this laptop, I have successfully installed (with no extra hw configuration):
Mandrake 9.2
SuSE 9.1 Professional
RedHat 9
Knoppix/Debian
I have also installed Slackware 9.1 - but had to configure the sound card and the video card will also need reconfiguring, but works.
