Description: The Solwise SAR110 is an all in one router modem. It has 1 ethernet port (RJ45 I think it's called). I understand it was also available in a 4 port version, but I use a seperate 8 port hub. It can act as a firewall and can be set for full stealth mode.

I use it with an adsl connection that has a static IP, but understand that it can also do dynamic/dhcp.

You don't need any software for it, because it's external and you access it using a browser to configure it through it's control panel. You then just manage it as a LAN gateway.

there's a good write up at the adsl guide (.org.uk), which is where I went to check it out before buying, but on looking at the solwise site, it looks like they've got an updated version called the SAR130, which I haven't tried yet. You would need a NIC card.

Their market seems to be mainly Europe - but probably still worth checking.
Keywords: adsl router modem ethernet
Connection Type: from device to pc, RJ45 ethernet connection from device to phone/socket connection, you'd have to check.
